You’ll be able to demonstrate creativity, strong layout skills and accuracy. Our client base is varied and our production tasks are too – you’ll be required to work on identity, content planning & design, and art direction. You’ll understand how to communicate a brand vision and lay out information in an appropriate and engaging way – for print, packaging or digital.

Fluent in Creative Suite, have good client-facing manner and literacy skills.

We are a small design-led studio, your thinking will compliment our team, though space for individual interpretation and personality will be positively encouraged.

Woolverstone Hall, home of Ipswich High School for Girls, commissioned us to design a new brand identity for their wedding and events business. We took inspiration from the many interesting interior and architectural details of the magnificent grade 1 listed mansion and the unusual, quirky nature of their service offer – book an event here and almost anything is possible!

You may be wondering what the significance is of the monkeys in the Woolverstone Hall logo. The Hall was built in 1776 for William Berners and local folk lore tells the tale of his pet monkeys raising the alarm when Woolverstone Hall caught fire enabling the family to escape unharmed. Following this, Berners had images and statues of monkeys made to adorn the Woolverstone Hall estate.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with photographer Andrew Florides on a number of occasions, producing brilliantly shot imagery for us and our clients. Late last year Andrew commissioned us to design his new site, you can see the result here. It’s built on a drupal platform with a bit of wordpress which enables him to blog and to change his displayed work with ease.

We’ve had some great fun producing our Christmas cards over the last 13 years. Playing with formats, materials, cyphers and puzzles or just plain old staff humiliation and sillyness. This year for the first time we’ve gone all digital, and, as a mark of respect to the death of the Firebrand paper Christmas card, we’ve exhumed our past festive crimes against the planet’s resources for your perusal. We’ve just completed a major design overhaul, restructuring content and improving usability and visibility without losing the essential quality of the brand we’ve helped develop over the last ten years.

Holbrook High School have recently commissioned us to create a new look for their marketing literature. With Suffolks’ higher performing State Schools becoming increasingly brand aware, Holbrook High needed to confidently project it’s ethos to an ever widening catchment. The Head and her team have embraced a bold typographic route that communicates an exceptional educational offer as well as defining a unique visual personality for the School.
